Add of file attachments in the events of the planning, new module 'Documentary database' and resizing of events by Drag & Drop
The version 1.60 of Netside Planning is now on-line. Below the list of new features and corrections made :
- Integration of the dynamic event resizing by drag & drop (slide, deposit) allowing a change of the beginning or ending of an event directly from the planning.
From the planning, place your cursor at right or at left of an event in order to resize it. - Netside Planning exclusivity ! : Possibility to join some file attachments to events of the planning.
We now offer you the possibility to join one to several file attachments per event. This new functionality includes several new modules :
- Add, modification and deletion of one to several file attachments directly from an event.
- Download in one click some file attachments directly from the concerned event.
- Add of a new module called Documentary database allowing you to quickly search for file attachments, to view their details, to download them, to modify/delete them easily (depending on their rights) and to quickly access to concerned attachment events.
- This new module allows you to also create some new permanent documents with or without file attachment, and to define them one or several keyword in order to filter them and to easily find them in the documentary database.
- Add of an additional right from the settings of the application allowing to forbid the add and the deletion of file attachments by the users.
- Add of an additional parameter from the settings of the application allowing to limit the size of file attachments
- Add of an additional parameter from the settings of the application allowing to recycle the space used by the file attachments by automatically deleting them from the already passed events (number of days before deletion is customizable).
- Modification of the event tooltip. Add of a new icon allowing to identify the events with file attachments.
This new module also comes with a new volume option for file attachments.
Don't hesitate to contact our sales department if you are interested with a bigger volume. A basic volume is offered by default to all our customers. - The Category field can from now on be passed as a mandatory field for each event.
- Integration of morning and afternoon time-slots for each team.
This functionality allows to automatically predefine the morning and afternoon time-slots during the creation of an event from the weekly and monthly views. The selection of time-slots from the daily view stays, her, is a priority. - Possibility to pass the customer field in an expandable list. In this specific case, the customers must be entered via the contacts page.
- Add of an alert message at connection allowing to warn the users of any update of Netside Planning.
- Improvement of the Time-slots view. From now on the break/meal hours are visible directly from the planning.
- Improvement of the Search of events view. The following columns have been added : beginning date of the event, ending date of the event, range and customer.
- Improvement of the History of events view. The following columns have been added : beginning date of the event and ending date of the event.
- It is from now on possible to close an event by directly pressing the ESC (ESCAPE) key.
- Netside Planning is from now on compatible with the Internet Explorer 10 browser and the higher versions.
- It is from now on possible to delete several contacts in just one click from the 'CONTACTS' module.
- Modification of the header of the application in order to display 'the number of resources actual / maximum', 'the volume used / maximum for the file attachments' as well as the 'recycle of file attachments' option (active or inactive).
- Other minor improvements of the interface and the compatibility with the different browsers.
- Update of the documentation and of the tutorials : Integration of all the new functionalities.
