Version 2.20 available

Change of the events to 1 minute, attach several resources to an event, Redesign of the search engine of resources, Improvement of the mobility pack, Improvement of time zones, new Excel exports

The version 2.20 of Netside Planning is now on-line. Below the list of novelties and of made corrections :

  • Redesign of the search engine of resources accessible from all the plannings :
    • A new search engine allows you to from now on to quickly search and filter the different resources of the planning.
    • This search engine also allows to display in a few clicks several teams on the same view. In the search engine, simply click on the name of the desired team then click on the search button to only display the concerned teams.
    • All the other existing filters can be simultaneously used with the new search engine.
    • The Excel export of each planning takes into account the usage of this new search engine.
  • It is from now on possible to attach several resources to an event :
    • A multi resources event allows to quickly view the different participants of the event. E.g. : Participants list for a meeting. Material or reserved vehicle for a given resource.
    • Any modification of a multi resources event, whether it is in the details or in the date will automatically lead to the modification of this event for all the concerned resources.
    • During the creation of an event, click on the Multi participants button to attach this event to the selected resources.
    • A specific icon has been added in order to quickly view the list of the attached resources of an event.
  • Change of the events to 1 minute (15 minutes previously) :
    • It is from now on possible to create events that are less than 15 minutes.
    • Modification of the daily view, as well as its Excel export, in order to take into account this new functionality.
  • Improvement of the mobility pack :
    • You will see from now on with your Smartphone or an external application (e.g. : Outlook) the list of all the participants attached to an event.
    • The attachments of an event can from now on be downloaded from your smartphone or an external application.
  • It is from now on possible to define a different time zone for each resource :
    • This time zone must be defined for all the resources that do not use the default time zone of the planning. It is mainly used in the mobility pack in order to avoid any time offset in the events and in their reminders.
    • The time zone of a resource can be modified from the SETTINGS > RESOURCES page or from the SETTINGS > PROFILE page.
  • The list of waiting events is from now on exportable to Excel format..
  • The list of in progress and upcoming events is from now on exportable to Excel format..
  • Display of the duration of the event in real time during the modification of the ending hour of the event.
  • Display of the week numbers during the date selection of an event.
  • During the modification of an event, a new icon allows to quickly display the list of the last modifiers of the event.
  • New search engine of resources for the resources management page.
  • It is from now on possible to define some reminders up to 3 month before the beginning of an event.
  • In the planning, a new icon has been added in front of each resource allowing to quickly display the list of in progress and upcoming events of the resource.
  • In the planning, the add of a waiting event icon has been moved under the name of each resource.
  • During the creation of an event, the Resource(s) field has been modified in order to allow the selection of resources outside of the selected perimeter.
  • During the creation of an event, the Category event field includes from now on a search engine.
  • During the creation of an event, The Beginning hour and the Ending hour fields can from now on directly be modified by typing the desired hour.
  • In order to take into account the activities that work with offsets (e.g. : restoration professions). The hour restrictions for the mornings and afternoons have been deleted.
  • Improvement of the general ergonomy.
  • Correction of an incompatibility with Internet Explorer 11 Enterprise version.

A new search engine allows you to from now on to quickly search and filter the different resources of the planning.
It is from now on possible to attach several resources to an event. E.g. : Participants list for a meeting. Material or reserved vehicle for a given resource.
The list of waiting and upcoming events is from now on exportable to Excel format.
